Finding Your Way Around Lake Livingston – The Map

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Lake Livingston is large (almost 100,000 acres), and is bordered by four counties. Dozens of lakeside subdivisions ring the lake and many are not well-identified on Web-based maps. In some cases GPS map data are wrong.  Highway maps are only marginally useful.  Perhaps the best way to navigate the lake is with the aid of the Lake Livingston Fishing Map published by AID Lake Maps.  It is a great map of the lake itself, and has most of the lakeside subdivisions and area highways well-identified.  Waterproof  and fold-tolerant, this excellent map is available at many area marinas and convenience stores, as well as over the Web from  www.lureoftheoutdoors.com
